Children’s Chapel and Nursery

At St. Mark’s we welcome children of every age at all worship services. We are blessed by their presence among us and know them to be signs of the Kingdom. We notice—to our joy—that the signs seem to be multiplying.

  • Children’s Chapel is held at both 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. (during our academic year), and is designed for the spiritual lives of children age 4-6 years old. Children rejoin their parents during the exchange of peace in the church’s worship service. Mature 3-year-olds may attend Children’s Chapel when accompanied by a parent. Children’s chapel is available in the summertime as well, at the 10:00 a.m. service.
  • The nursery is available for younger children (age 0 – 3 years) every Sunday (see worship times). Children of all ages are encouraged to worship with their parents in the sanctuary. If your child becomes restless during the service, chairs are set up in the Narthex where parents can sit with their child and still hear the service.
