Worship is at the heart of the Mission and Ministry of St. Mark’s. We believe that everything begins with our worship life. We gather to pray and to sing God’s praises, to read and hear God’s word, and to be nourished and nurtured by the sacrament of Holy Eucharist. Then we are sent out into the world to do the work and ministry to which we have been called as God’s people. The celebration of the Holy Eucharist is our principal act of worship – on Sunday mornings, on Wednesday evenings, and for other feast days and occasions during the course of the liturgical year.
Contemplative Prayer is a form of centering prayer, which prepares our heart and mind to receive the gift of God’s presence. This small informal worship service is open to anyone and meets each Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
