Dear St. Mark’s Parish Family,

As many of you are aware, for some time our Vestry has been investigating the need for capital improvements and new construction. This, of course, is not just a conversation about buildings, it’s a conversation about the faithful stewardship of St. Mark’s future mission and ministry. Our Vestry has now completed much of the preliminary planning, and we are excited about presenting our current progress to the congregation.  And so now we need you—your eyes, ears, wisdom, and attention. Rather than present a final draft to the whole congregation at once, we’d like to share it with small groups so everyone has a space and opportunity to provide meaningful feedback on the proposed vision for our future. You are thereby invited to attend one of our upcoming Focus Group Meetings. All meetings will be held in Grace Chapel.

Please check your schedules, mark your calendar, and plan to attend one of these very important meetings. Our hope is that every single person gets to attend one of these. You do not need to register in advance, but we will cap attendance at 20 for each session. Each presentation will last approximately 20 minutes. You will then have an opportunity to share your reactions and to answer a brief, but important, questionnaire before the meeting is concluded.

I couldn’t be more excited about what God is doing in this place. I could not be more filled with hope about what God is going to do here in the future. You are part of it.
