Integrated with Nature; Community for all

Anna Bryan-Borja, Chair of the St. Mark’s Building Committee

Here are St. Mark’s, we are just a few steps away from Barton Creek, one of the crown jewels of nature in our community. Our meditation trail on the greenbelt is open to anyone who needs an escape from the city, a place to walk their dog, or just a moment of serenity outdoors.

What I am most excited about is that our new buildings will be more integrated with nature on this beautiful site while at the same time the buildings will become more accessible to all parishioners.

My family has pledged to support Building Communion because we believe that St. Mark’s is a place where ALL are welcome to find community and therefore to experience love and hope for the future.

Father Zac suggested that we give sacrificially and what that means to me is that our gift will have a notable impact on our lives and on this project. Despite the uncertainties of our jobs, inflation, the markets, and the many other variables that we all face in our lives, we are acting on faith that God will take our commitment and work it with others in this community to make something beautiful.

If anyone has questions about the project, I’d be happy to chat with you about it.
