At St. Mark’s, the presence of children is treated as a gift to be cherished. In faithfulness to the example of Jesus, we desire for children from all backgrounds and ability levels to experience St. Mark’s as a place of safety, welcome, and love.

Sunday Childcare
Nursery Care (crawling babies - 3 year olds): Join us in Ms. Mayra’s classroom in the Day School Wing for indoor and outdoor free play, supervised by our fantastic nursery staff! The nursery is open from 8:45 to 12:30 every Sunday during the school year.
Children’s Chapel (ages 4-6): During the 11:15 service only, children are invited before the readings to follow the crucifer to the Parish Hall. There they will discuss a Bible story with Safeguarding Certified Adults, plus enjoy a short coloring activity or group game. Leaders bring the children back to their parents in the service during the Peace, after the sermon.
The St. Mark’s Choristers
Wednesday nights @ 6 PM
The St. Mark’s Choristers are a group of children who enjoy singing, learning about music and worship, playing games, and having lots of fun! By participating in Choristers, children not only develop their musical skills, but they also strengthen their faith by joining a community and building friendships within the church. Choristers is for elementary school children in grades K and up. We sing at the 9:00 a.m. worship service about once a month during the school year. We’ll also sing for the Festival of Lessons and Carols, the Christmas Eve Pageant Service, Palm Sunday, and other special events. Come sing with us! Contact mark@stmarksaustin.org to learn more.
